In Manchester, Scotland first scored 161 runs for 5 wickets, captain Catherine Bryce was the top scorer with 60 runs, Sarah Bryce scored 49 runs.

In reply, the Irish team failed to reach the target and were bowled out for 121 runs in 19.1 overs.
