The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is all set to hand over the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
According to sources, the relations between the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Pakistan Cricket Board are ongoing and two rounds of talks have been held to resolve the situation.
The sources reveal that the provincial government is also evaluating the agreement with the PCB for the Gaddafi Stadium and the National Cricket Stadium.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Adviser Taj Mohammad Tarand says we want international cricket to be brought back here.
He said that the Gaddafi Stadium and the National Stadium are looking at contracts. The decision to hand over the stadium to the PCB has not yet been taken.
