Pakistan Super League (PSL) team Quetta Gladiators bowling coach Sohail Tanveer says we will try to play well in the remaining two matches to ensure a place in the playoffs.
Soheyl Tanveer held a press conference after Peshawar Zalmi’s defeat by 118 runs in Karachi and said that he will forget today’s result and try to do better.
Sohail Tanveer said that we are not doing as well as we should in the middle games and only when the power play is good our middle games will improve.
He said our performance in the tournament lacked consistency, we didn’t bowl well, we couldn’t play according to plan, but the competition is still on for the fourth team.
Sohail Tanveer said that he has respect to Babar and Mendis who also played well, I was happy that today Babar is playing like this.
The bowling coach of Quetta Gladiators said that earlier batsmen were not getting hit as much as now, bowlers should also bowl with variety, otherwise big scores will continue.
It is worth mentioning that the Quetta Gladiators team is currently in the fourth position on the points table and there are still 2 matches left, the next match of Quetta Gladiators will be tomorrow against Lahore Qalandars and the last match of the group will be played against Karachi Kings on April 25 and these two matches will be played at Gaddafi stadium.
