Tri-nation series: Pakistan women’s team lost in the second match as well

In the tri-nation match between Pakistan, West Indies and hosts Ireland, the Pakistan team also suffered a defeat in their second match.

In the match played in Dublin, Pakistan team won and decided to bat first and lost 176 runs and lost 6 wickets in allotted 20 overs.

Pakistan opener Muniba Ali scored 65 runs and besides Saira Jabeen 36 and Gul Feroza also scored 32 runs.

Captain Fatima Sana scored 21 runs and after that no player could reach double figures.

The host team of Ireland won the match by 7 wickets in the first ball of the 20th over. Rebecca Stokel was the leading batsman for Ireland with 60 runs.

Ayisha Zafer took 2 wickets and Ramin Shamim took one wicket for Pakistan. Pakistan team had to lose by 25 runs against West Indies in the first match of the tournament.

In the tri-nation series, Pakistan team will play their next match against West Indies on June 3 and Ireland on June 4.
