Bangladesh Cricket Board changes match timings in big decision to save energy The cricket board says it has decided to change the timings of matches to support the government’s energy conservation campaign.

The changed timings will be announced in due course, the BCB said, adding that the changed timings of the matches are aimed at making better use of daylight hours.

According to the cricket website, BCB has changed the timings of the scheduled series with New Zealand Men and Sri Lanka Women. The tri-series ODI between Bangladesh and New Zealand Men’s Teams is played on a day-night basis. The three ODI matches will now start at 11:00 AM.

The three-match T20I series between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka Women’s teams will now be played during the day, with all three matches starting at 2:00 PM instead of 6:30 PM.

According to the cricket website, the T20 series matches between the women’s teams of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will be played in Sylhet, the first T20 series will be played on April 28, the second on April 30 and the third on May 2.
