Ahead of the start of the soccer World Cup, FIFA released the updated rankings for the month of June, after which Argentina topped the world rankings for the first time since July 2025.
France, which ranks first in the list, has dropped two places to third place, while Spain remains in second place.
Morocco has also improved and reached the 7th place in the ranking of North African teams. The Netherlands dropped one place to eighth.
The Pakistan football team is among the teams that have made significant progress in the competition. The Pakistan team improved its place in the FIFA ranking by 4 places.
The national team, which recently won the 4-nation tournament, rose from 202 to 198 in the FIFA ranking.
The FIFA rankings will also be used as matches in the group stage, while the next FIFA World Series will be broadcast on 20 July 2026.
