Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif allowed fans to come to the stadium during the Pakistan Super League (HBLPSL 11) play-off matches.
According to reports, Interior Minister and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi gave the news to the audience after meeting the Prime Minister on social media site X.
“Just had a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and I am happy to say that we have secured his approval for public participation in all three PSL playoff matches,” he wrote.
Mohsin Naqvi wrote that the condition of affordability has been set for fans to come to the stadium. Fans are urged to use public transport or reduce fuel consumption.
The Minister of Internal Affairs also wanted all four teams to participate in the PSL game and wrote that the game will be more interesting now.
Earlier, the Minister of Interior and the Chairman of the PCB, Mohsin Naqvi, had reached the Prime Minister’s office regarding the issue of allowing spectators in the PSL play-off matches.
Mohsin Naqvi gave a security briefing to the Prime Minister and then the Prime Minister decided about the stadium.
It should be noted that there has always been a demand on social media to allow fans in the remaining PSL matches.
