On FIFA’s official resale platform, the price of 4 World Cup final tickets has reached 1.7 million pounds, which translates into millions in Pakistani currency.
The match will be played on July 19 at MetLife Stadium, these four tickets are for a set of seats behind the goal posts in the lower level of the stadium.
Although FIFA does not set the resale value of tickets itself, it takes a 15% commission on each purchase and sale, so if these tickets are sold for the same price, FIFA could earn just £2 million in commission.
The most expensive and most seated first category tickets start at £11,920 and go up to £1.7 million, with the cheapest tickets available at around £8,899.
