The Presidential Golden Tournament of the Second Ball starts today and the matches of this tournament will be played in 4 cities.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the tournament will see 45 three-day non-first-class matches from May 12 to June 21.
Class 2 President’s Trophy is divided into Gold and Silver tiers. 14 department teams will participate in the gold tournament and 10 department teams will participate in the silver tournament.
The President’s Silver Second Division Tournament will begin on May 18, while the gold finalist teams will play the First Division One Day Tournament and the President’s President’s Cup.
Pool A matches will be played at Railway Cricket Stadium Haripur, Abbottabad Cricket Stadium and National Cricket Ground Islamabad while Pool B matches will be played at Shoaib Akhtar Stadium Rawalpindi, Diamond Cricket Ground Islamabad and Murghazar Cricket Ground Islamabad.
The winning team of the Grade Two Gold Tournament will be awarded Rs 50 lakh, while the runner-up team will be awarded Rs 25 million.
