The Pakistan Hockey Federation has released Rs 4.5 million for the national players, for the first time in the history of hockey all the daily allowances of the players have been cleared before going on an international tour.
Through the efforts of PHF President Mohiuddin Ahmad Wani, Pakistan Hockey Federation released a generous donation of Rs.
The funds released include the prize money announced by the Pakistan Prime Minister for World Cup selection and development of daily allowance (daily allowance) so that all players are financially stable and satisfied before going to the international event.
This is the first time in the history of Pakistan Hockey that all daily wages of the players are paid in full before departure for a major international tournament.
In the light of the special instructions of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the Pakistan Hockey Federation has also made a historic increase in the subsidy structure. Each senior and junior player will now be paid a daily allowance of US$110 during international tours, while the players will also be provided with the best accommodation and food (boarding and lodging) during the tour. This is the highest daily allowance ever in the history of Pakistan Hockey.
In this regard, PHF President Mohiuddin Ahmad Wani said that the purpose of this historic initiative is to show the determination of the government of Pakistan to protect national sports and athletes. He said that we want to provide an excellent and professional environment to the players so that they can only focus on their performance on the field without worrying about finances.
It is worth mentioning that after giving this grant and allowance, the national hockey team will now come out with complete calmness, integrity and determination to shine the name of Pakistan in the Pro League.
