Former Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir has been included by Trent Rockets in their squad for The Hundred 2026.
The French took to social media to announce that Aamir will be part of the squad in place of English pacer David Paine, who has been ruled out of the tournament due to injury.
In their statement, the Trent Rockets also wished David Penn a speedy recovery.
Muhammad Amir also expressed his happiness for joining Trent Rockets by publishing a short message on social media platform X.

The 33-year-old Mohammad Amir has played 36 Tests, 61 ODIs and 62 T20 Internationals for Pakistan.
He also became a British citizen after receiving a British passport last month.
He had previously taken six wickets in eight matches while representing London Spirit and Oval Innocences in The Hundred.
On the other hand, Pakistani spinners Abrar Ahmed and Usman Tariq also won the auction.
Sunrisers Leeds added Abrar Ahmed and Birmingham Phoenix added Usman Tariq to their squad.
