India’s 15-member squad for the ODI series against England has been announced.

The Indian team will be led by young opener Shibman Gul, while Shreyas Iyer has been appointed as the vice-captain. Veteran batsmen Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are also part of the team.

KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan were included in the team as wicket keepers. All-rounders include Washington Sundar, Akshar Patel and Nitish Kumar Reddy.

Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, Prasad Krishna, Harshit Rana, Arsdeep Singh and Gurnoor Brar have been given a chance in the bowling department.

Indian cricket team player Virat Kohli has been ruled out of the series against Afghanistan due to an injury. Hardik Pandya was not included due to fitness issues, Yashwi Jaiswal was dropped.

The three ODIs between India and England will be played in England on July 14, 16 and 19.
