Report: Faizan Lakhani. Australian star Steve Smith has described representing Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) as an amazing experience and said he is thoroughly enjoying his time here.
In the press conference after the Rawalpindi match in Karachi, Smith said that the last month with Multan Sultans has been very good and the team has played some excellent cricket.
On the opening role, he said that this position suits his style of play as it gives more opportunity during the power play.
Describing the PSL as a strong and talented league, Smith said every team has quality players and the competition is very tough.
Regarding the young players of Multan Sultans, he interestingly said, ‘I myself learn from the youngsters, they teach me everything.’ However, he said that if a young player wants advice, he is always there to help.
Smith said the team’s goal is to secure a second-place finish by showing better performance in the finals matches.
He also appreciated the hospitality in Pakistan and the atmosphere of Multan Sultans, but said the fans are missing.
