The first phase of the eleventh Pakistan Super league (PSL) is over, the second phase will start tomorrow in Karachi.
According to information, 13 matches out of 14 scheduled matches were played in the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore in the first phase, and one was postponed due to rain.
At the end of the first round, Multan Sultans team is in the first place with 8 points.
Karachi Kings 6, Islamabad United 5 and Lahore Qalandars 4 points are second to fourth respectively.
Peshawar Zalmi is fifth with 3 points and Quetta Gladiators is sixth with 2 points.
Rawalpindi’s 4 and Hyderabad Kingsmen are in the action for the first time, sitting seventh and eighth with zero points after playing 3 matches.
In the first innings, Hasan Ali of Karachi Kings became the first with 8 wickets, Shaheen Afridi of Lahore Qalandars and Abrar Ahmed of Quetta Gladiators were second and third with 6 and 6 wickets respectively.
Among the runs, Sahibzada Farhan of Multan Sultans is first with 232 runs, Sameer Minhas of Islamabad United is second with 180 runs and Hasan Navaz of Quetta Gladiators is third with 158 runs.
The second phase of the action will begin tomorrow with the match between Hyderabad Kingsmen and Peshawar Zalmi at the National Stadium in Karachi.
The second stage will continue until April 19 and 15 matches will be played.
In the third phase from April 21 onwards, matches are scheduled to be played in both Karachi and Lahore.
