PSL 11: Lahore Qalandars beat Quetta Gladiators by 9 runs

In Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11, Lahore Qalandars beat Peshawar Zalmi by 9 runs.

In the 30th match of the tournament played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, the Quetta Gladiators team managed to lose 7 goals in the allotted overs.

Riley Russo scored 62 runs for the Gladiators. Shamil Hussain 53, captain Saud Shakeel 17, Khawaja Nafee 12, Brett Hampton 7, Bevan Jacobs 2 and Hasan Nawaz 0 were the individual scorers.

Abrar Ahmed 24 and Alzari Joseph 3 runs and returned to the pavilion not outside.

On behalf of Qalendaran, Haris Rauf dismissed 2 players and Sikandar Raza, Usame Mir, Shahin Shah Afrini and Obed Shah took 1 wicket each.

Earlier, Lahore Qalendars won and batted first, scoring 197 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs thanks to Fakhar Zeman’s 103 runs off 51 balls.

Charith Asalinka scored 31 runs, Abdullah Shafique scored 14 runs, Shahin Afridi scored 8 runs, Sikandar Raza scored 5 runs, Muhammad Farooq scored 4 runs and Daniel Sims scored 18 runs.

For Quetta Gladiators, Khalil Ahmed took 2 wickets, Abrar Ahmed, Brett Hampton and Usman Tariq took one wicket each.

Quetta Gladiators need a win in today’s match, if they lose the Quetta team will be out of the event.
