In the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11, Hyderabad Kingsmen defeated Rawalpindi by 108 runs to enter the playoffs.
In the 39th over of the tournament played at the National Stadium, Karachi, the Rawalpindi team was bowled out for 245 in the 18th over with 136 runs to spare.
On behalf of Rawalpindi, Usman Khawaja scored an unbeaten 66 runs. Captain Muhammad Rizwan 26, Sam Billings 23, Diane Forrester 6, Saad Masood 5, Imad Butt 3, Asif Afridi 3, Shahzeb Khan 1, Kamran Ghulam, Muhammad Amir and Ben Sears were out without scoring.
On behalf of Kingsmen Haneen Shah 4 wickets and Akif Javed 3 wickets. Muhammad Ali and Glenn Maxwell took 1, 1 wicket.
Earlier, batting first at the Rawalpindi Invitational, Hyderabad Kingsmen scored 244 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs.
Glenn Maxwell scored 70 runs for the Kingsmen. Usman Khan scored 54, Kaushal Perera and Hasan Khan scored 50 and 16 respectively.
Among the other batsmen, Muaz Sadaqat 28, Saeem Ayub 12, Captain Marnes Labushin 5 and Irfan Khan came out with 0 individual points.
On behalf of Rawalpindi, Saad Masud dismissed 2 players. Imad Butt, Ben Sears and Asif Afridi took 1 wicket each.
