PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi will decide on the financial model and there are likely to be major changes in the contracts in the new year.

The financial model was introduced for three years in 2023 during the presidency of former president Zeka Ashraf.

It should be noted that the funding model has not changed during the PCB chairmanship of Mohsin Naqvi, but the categories of players have changed based on fitness and performance.

The cycle of new central contracts will start from July 1 and in this regard the initial discussions about the names of the new central contracts are ongoing and PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi will decide on the financial model.
