Speaking to Geo News in Lahore, Aqib Javed said that before central contracts were given to some players according to the format, some players were abused, players who played only Tests were compared with players who played T20, now if someone plays only Tests, he will be compared with a Test player and will be paid accordingly.
Continuing his speech, Aqeeb Javid said that the good Test players will get Rs 40 million per month in the first level, Rs 30 to 35 million in Test and ODI category and later ODI and T20 players will also get salary in performance division.
Director of High Performance Aqib Javed said that those who play 6 first-class matches will get central contract for Test category, four first-class and four List A matches for Test and ODI category will be mandatory, test players will get NOC for four-day overseas matches, Test and ODI category players can get one franchise NOC while ODI and T20 two category players NOC will be ten matches which will be given over ten games, only players T20 will be required to play domestic T20, except that they can play franchise cricket. The ODI category money will try up to 48 lakhs.
Aqib Jawid said that the effort is not to have the same focus on the three formats, but you should focus on the category you are in. We will force the players to stay on your format, the Test players should watch the Test. We are in a bad situation in the Exam.
Aqib Javed said that the most important category D will be on them. In category D there will be 16 to 20 players who will be kept from the start according to their format.
He said that changes should be made in the T20 team, now the Asia Cup team is in front of everyone, the purpose of the central contract is the commitment clause and the commitment clause is that you will play the international and domestic game, the commitment clause has not been implemented and we have suffered a loss.
