The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has installed a state-of-the-art ‘Truman 3’ bowling machine at the National Cricket Academy to bring more innovation in player training.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the aim of this new technology is to provide better opportunities for batsmen to practice in real match situations so that they can further refine their technical skills.
The highlight of this machine is that its front display shows a high-contrast LED animation of the coil, which helps batters accurately predict the action, release point and coil time.
Additionally, the speed, range, length, swing and height of the ball can be adjusted as needed while coaches can save different balls, heads and designs to use later to create similar situations.

According to Senior Performance Director Aqib Javed, the Pakistan Cricket Board has become the first cricket board in the world to use this innovative machine.
He said the system allows batters to practice more accurately with video bowling than traditional bowling machines.
National team captain Salman Ali Agha also termed this technology as an important development as per the needs of modern cricket and said that it will significantly improve the timing and batting of the players.
