The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the Team of the Event and the Development Team of the Event at the end of PSL 11. Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam will also lead the Event Team.
12, 12 players included in the two squads announced by the PCB, Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam along with wicket keeper Kaushal Mendis and spinner Sufyan Moqim are in the squad for the event.
Usman Khan, Hasan Khan and Huneen Shah from Hyderabad Kingsmen, along with Fakhar Zaman and Shaheen Afridi from Lahore Qalandars, Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan and fast bowler Richard Gleeson are also in the squad.
Shan Masood from Multan Sultans and Hasan Nawaz from Quetta Gladiators were named as the 12th player.
The updated Team of the Event consists of Obaid Shah of Lahore Qalandars, Moaz Sadaqat and Haneen Shah of Hyderabad Kings, Ali Raza Peshawar Zalmi, Farhan Yousuf, Momin Qamar and Mohamed Ismail of Multan Sultans.
Apart from this, Sameer Minhas from Islamabad United, Saad Masood from Rawalpindi, Shamal Hussain from Quetta Gladiators and Saad Baig from Karachi Kings are also in the squad.
Muhammad Farooq of Lahore Qalendar is included as the 12th player in the Advanced Team of the Tournament.
