Pakistani-origin karate player Raja Rehan won the silver medal at the 12th Central Poland Open 2026 after showing excellent performance at the international level.

The event was held in Pleszew, Poland, and represented Germany in the Komete category of Seniors-60 kg. 81 teams and around 900 players participated in the tournament, which saw tough and high-quality competition.

Raja Rehan performed admirably with his brilliant skill, speed and tactics. In the semi-final, he faced Rahim Majidov from Azerbaijan, which was a very exciting and tense match. After the match was tied, the referee Raja Rehan declared the winner.

In the final, he faced Bartosz Wojciechowski of the host country, Poland. Despite a tough competition, Raja Rehan lost 5-0, but put up an outstanding performance in the tournament and won the silver medal.

This achievement is a source of pride for Pakistan and the community of Pakistani origin, as Raja Rehan has made the country famous by showcasing his talent on the international stage.
