Pakistan squad announced for ICC Women’s T20 World Cup

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the squad for the ICCT Twenty20 Cricket World Cup.

ICCT Twenty20 World Cup under the captaincy of Fatima Sana includes Muniba Ali, Gul Feroza, Ayesha Zafar, Iram Caved, Iman Fatima and Alia Riaz.

Apart from them, Natalia Pervez, Saira Jabeen, Touba Hasan, Ramin Shamim, Sadia Iqbal, Nashra Sindhu, Diana Baig and Tasmia Rabab are among the other actors.

It is worth mentioning that Iman Fatima, Natalia Pervez, Ramin Shamim, Saira Jabeen and Tasmia Rabab will participate in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup for the first time and the reserve players of the Pakistan women’s team are Amber Kainat, Momina Rashasta, Sadaf Shams, Sudra Amin, Syedamm Aroob.

Notably, Fatima Sana will lead the Pakistan women’s team in the tri-nation series against Ireland and the 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. Pakistan Women will play a tri-nation series in Ireland from May 28 to June 4 in Dublin.

Remember that apart from Pakistan, hosts Ireland and West Indies will also be participating in the tri-nation series and this tri-nation series will be an important opportunity for the Pakistan Women’s teams to prepare for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.

The Pakistan Women’s team will play warm-up matches against Sri Lanka on June 6 and Scotland on June 9 before the ICCT World Twenty20 starts in England.

The Pakistan Women’s team will begin their World Cup journey against arch-rivals India on June 14 in Birmingham, followed by a match against South Africa on June 17.

The women’s national team will play their third group match against Bangladesh in Southampton on June 20 and Australia in Headingley on June 23 and the final group match against the Netherlands in Bristol on June 27.

It may be recalled that Pakistan Women recently swept the T20 series and ODI series by 0-3 against Zimbabwe in Karachi.
