Pakistan’s Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem was unbeaten to finish ninth in the javelin throw competition at the Sceptin World Athletics Silver Meet.
Ershad Nedim threw 6 throws in the competition, two of which were declared as mistakes, and his best throw was 78.47 meters. Because of this performance, he could not reach the top positions.
Julian Weber from Germany took the lead and became the first with a throw of 87.04 meters.
Arshad Nadeem will now turn his full attention to the Commonwealth Games where he will defend his javelin title. The Commonwealth Games javelin throw final will be played on August 1.
