New Zealand cricketer Cole McConkey, who is part of Pakistan Super League (PSL) team Rawalpindi, described his experience of the event as amazing.
In an exclusive conversation with Geo News, Cole McConkey said that although the results are not as expected, he is completely happy with the event.
He said that coming to Pakistan is always a pleasure and playing with Rawalpindi team is a good experience, the atmosphere of playing with Kiwi and Pakistani players in the team is very good because they are also playing with players, who have played international cricket against them before.
Cole McConkey said he hopes the team will perform better soon and make a good start in the next match against Lahore.
Regarding the conditions in Pakistan, he said that the facilities here are different compared to New Zealand, but the previous experience has helped him.
The Rawalpindi player praised Pakistan’s hospitality and food and said that he always gets the best welcome here, Daryl Mitchell also gave a very positive opinion about the PSL and the people here are very hospitable.
According to him, the PSL is a league of excellence, featuring top players from all over the world and it is an honor to play here.
The Rawalpindi team has struggled so far in this competition and has not won a single match, but Cole McConkey is optimistic that the team will perform better in the remaining matches and end the tournament on a high note.
