Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Amir joined English county club Nottinghamshire as a domestic player.
According to a statement issued by Nottinghamshire, Muhammad Amir has been signed on a short-term contract for the remainder of the Vitality Blast matches. The club management welcomed Mohammad Amiri to the team and hoped that his experience would be useful for the team.
Muhammad Amir will not be considered as an overseas player as he has a British passport.
Muhammad Amir expressed his happiness and said that he is very happy to join Nottinghamshire for Vitality Blast.
He said he had heard a lot about Nottinghamshire and was excited to represent the historic club.
