Report: Soheyl Imran. Ahead of Pakistan’s upcoming tour of the West Indies and England, the Red Ball cricketers’ training camp is underway at the LCCA ground, with the selectors and team management keeping a close eye on the 22 players.

According to information, the selectors have prepared their initial proposal during the camp, the team of 17 people will be selected from the 22 players of the camp and today the final consultation of the selectors for the test team will begin.

Sources say a 17-member squad is likely to be announced for the tour of England and West Indies and one squad for the five Test matches.

Sources have revealed that there are several changes in the test list against Bangladesh, including Shaheen Afridi, Hasan Ali and Numan Ali, and fast bowlers Muhammad Ali, Obed Shah and Shahnawaz Dani are among them.

Sources said that the possibility of changing Pakistan’s test captain Shan Masood is being shown and the final decision about him will be given by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi.

According to sources, Pakistan’s Test squad is likely to travel to West Indies on July 13. Pakistan is scheduled to have a four-day warm-up from July 18, with the first Test of the two-match series starting on July 25 and the second Test starting on August 2.
