ITFM 15 League Two: Pakistan’s Mohammad Shoaib reaches final

Pakistan’s Mohammad Shoaib reached the finals of the ITFM-15 Second League which is ongoing in Islamabad.

Pakistan’s Muhammad Shoaib defeated Italy’s Eduardo Cheri Ligniere 3-6 2-6 to reach the singles final in the ITF M-15 Second Division of the ITF Championship at the Islamabad Tennis Complex.

Muhammad Shoaib became the second Pakistani player to reach the final of an ITF professional event for the second time in a row, an honor previously held by Aisam-ul-Haq.

Muhammad Shoaib says that he is playing the best tennis in the competition and will try to win the title by showing good performance in the final.

He also said that such international events provide an excellent opportunity for local athletes to showcase their skills at the world level.

On the other hand, in the second singles semifinal, Sweden’s Arvid Nordqvist advanced to the final after Russia’s Nikita Ianon retired after the first set.

In the doubles final, the Russian duo defeated Turkey’s Murt Naci Turker and Maleh Anavatan 0-6 and 6-7 and won.
