Islamabad United easily defeated Karachi Kings by 8 wickets

In the 25th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Islamabad United easily defeated Karachi Kings by 8 wickets.

In the match played at the National Stadium in Karachi, Islamabad United won the toss and invited Karachi Kings to bat first.

Batting first, Kings scored 150 runs for 6 wickets in 20 separate overs. Reza Hendricks top scored with 51 runs, while Jason Roy scored 39 runs and Azam Khan scored 34 runs.

Richard Gleeson and Shadab Khan took two wickets each for Islamabad United.

United reached the target of 151 runs by losing 2 wickets in the 16th over.

Sameer Minhas and Dion Conway tied the match with a partnership of 93 runs for the first wicket as Minhas was dismissed for 58 runs while Conway played 53 runs at the crease to lead the team to victory.

On behalf of Islamabad United, captain Shadab Khan was not out with 31 runs. Hasan Ali and Moeen Ali took a wicket each for Kings Karachi.

Islamabad United’s young winger Sameer Minhas was named the man of the match.
