Iran has accused the United States of violating the rules of hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Spokesperson of Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ismail Beqaei, called America’s behavior political.
Ismail Beqayi said in his statement, the Iranian team was treated very badly in the FIFA World Cup, many coaches and officials of the football federation were not given American visas.
He said that visa restrictions have been a big problem since the beginning and placing the Iranian national team in a different place from the match venue has also been a problem.
Ismail Baqayi said that the Iranian team was treated contrary to the requirements of the host.
He condemned the statement of the US Secretary of Homeland Security on Iran’s failure and said that the statement celebrating Iran’s exit from the World Cup is not appropriate.
