Another new controversy has emerged in the controversial Indian Premier League.
According to details, an important match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Titans in the IPL turned into controversy when Rajat Patidar’s dismissal led to a backlash.
This event shocked not only the fans, but also the management of the team.
In the crucial phase of the match, Patidar tried to take a shot at a short ball, but the ball caught the top edge of the bat and went towards deep square leg where Jason Holder completed the catch as Kagiso Rabada ran close to him from fine leg.
Since the catch was unclear, the field umpires left the decision to the third umpire.
In the replay, it was not clear whether the ball hit the ground or not and Patidar was awarded despite the lack of evidence, causing controversy.
Virat Kohli reacted strongly to the decision and was seen arguing with the fourth umpire near the boundary line.
