Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar has called for a ban on unfit foreign cricketers in the IPL.
He gave this suggestion in the case of Cameron Green, he has scored only 18, 2 and 4 runs in 3 matches for Kolkata Knight Riders.
Despite joining the team as an all-rounder, Green has yet to bowl.
Gavaskar said that players who are not ready from the start or are not fit at all should not be allowed to play in the IPL.
He said that if someone cannot play to his full potential, he should withdraw from the tournament so that the franchise can add a replacement.
