In the T20 Women’s World Cup warm-up match, Scotland also beat Pakistan

In the warm-up match of the T20 Women’s World Cup played in Derby, Scotland defeated Pakistan Women by 41 runs using the Duckworth and Lewis method.

In the match played at Derby, Scotland Women batted first and scored 187 runs for five wickets in the shared overs.

Captain Catherine Bryce scored 94 runs with only 43 balls. He hit 11 fours and three sixes as opener Darcy Carter scored 45 runs.

On behalf of Pakistan, Sadiya Iqbal, Tasmi Rubab and Ayisha Zafar each got a surah.

In the counter matches, Pakistan Women scored 62 runs for 5 wickets in 9 overs, when rain brought the field, so the game did not restart.

Therefore, the Scottish Women’s Team won by the Duckworth-Louis method with 41 rounds.

It should be noted that previously Sri Lanka women easily defeated Pakistan women in the warm-up match.

Note that the National Women’s Team will play their first match against India Women in the tournament on Sunday, June 14.
