In the first ODI, Pakistan Women defeated Sri Lanka Women by 5 wickets

Pakistan Women’s team defeated Sri Lanka Women in the first ODI match. The national team also led 0-1 in the series of three matches. National players Gul Feroza and Sudra Amin played a key role in the team’s victory.

hSri Lanka batted first in the first one-dayer played at Mubantota and scored 210 runs for 9 wickets. Host nation captain Chamari Atapatu and Nilakashka Silva were the top scorers with 46 and 46 runs respectively.

Naashra Sindhu took 3 wickets and Tasmia Rabab took 2 wickets for Pakistan.

In reply, Pakistan Women’s Team lost 5 wickets in the first 7 overs and reached their target. Gul Feroza played for Pakistan with 78 runs which included 11 fours.

Apart from him, Sudra Amin scored 57 runs. The two batsmen added 90 runs for the second wicket partnership.

The Pakistan Women’s team took a one-nil lead in the 3-match ODI series with this win.
