In the latest ICC T20 rankings, Pakistani leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed has moved up a notch to become the second best player in the world.

According to the rankings released on Wednesday, Abrar Ahmed is second ahead of India’s Varun Chakraborty with 736 points and Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan is second with 753 points.

Among Pakistan’s other top scorers, Muhammad Nawaz is ranked 12th, Salman Mirza is ranked 20th and Shaheen Shah Afrini is ranked 30th with 602 points.

In the T20 rankings, Sahibzada Farhan, the opener from Pakistan, is ranked third with 848 points and is the highest in the list for Pakistan.

India’s Ishan Kishan returned to the top spot, his compatriot Abhishek Sharma dropped one place to second place.

Among other Pakistani batsmen, Saeem Ayub is ranked 40th, Babar Azam is ranked 42nd and T20 captain Salman Ali Agha is ranked 44th.

In the T20 rankings, Saim Ayub remains in the third position, Sikandar Raza of Zimbabwe is in the first position and Hardik Pandya of India is in the second position.

In the test rankings, Muhammad Rizwan has risen one place and has become 18 and Babar Azam has become 19. Syud Shakil remains at the 23rd place, and Salman Ali Akha has dropped two places to the 28th place.

Among Test bowlers, Nouman Ali is Pakistan’s top-ranked batsman and remains in seventh place, while Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Abbas have moved up two places to 25th and 26th.
