While giving a press conference after the match, national team captain Shan Masood said that Nahid Rana showed good team planning and bowling.
He said that we expected our set-beaters to play longer but unfortunately it did not happen, if we played longer sets we could have won the match.
The captain of the national team said that the positive thing is that Azan Oweys and Abdullah Fezl played a good game, Abdullah was hit on the head during training this morning, but he showed a good spirit. By playing more Test cricket, both the young batsmen will mature.
Shaun Masood said that as a captain I am not saying that the bowlers or the batsmen did not play well, he showed excellent bowling in several sessions.
He said that Nacemul Hussain Shantu and Mominul Haque from Bangladesh played a good game, we felt that the match was due to the partnership of Mominul Haque and Shantu.
Shaun Masood said that I think it was the best Test innings, the spinners helped the fast bowler get wickets. As a team, each opposing team was respected.
He also said that after getting the target, he decided to play according to the conditions, the match was under control till tea time. When you lose a match your emotions run high, it was sad to lose.
Shan Masud said that as a team we should play responsibly. Others will try to learn from their mistakes and play well in the Test match.
