Hockey Pro League: National team lost 3-4 against India

India beat the national hockey team by 3-4 in the FIH Pro Hockey League. This is Pakistan’s 13th consecutive defeat in the league.

According to the information received, the match which was held at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Center in London, was a sensational match between traditional rival teams. However, Pakistan’s hockey team, which is ranked 12th internationally, could not win against India, which is ranked 8th in the world.

Pakistan led by one goal in the first half. However, after tying the match, India took a 1-2 lead in the second quarter and at the end of the third quarter, India’s lead was 1-3.

Then, the game increased rapidly and both teams scored more goals each. Pakistan scored another goal in the last minute. But at the end of the match, India won 3-4.

Pakistan lost three of their best players in this most important match. Apart from penalty corner specialist Sufyan Khan and Hanan Shahid, captain Hammad Butt was also not seen in action.

In 3 league matches so far, Pakistan have scored 20 goals against rival teams and 63 goals against Pakistan.

Pakistan will play their next match in the league against England on Wednesday. Pakistan and India will meet again in the league on June 26, and the next day Pakistan will face England in their 16th and final match.
