Speaking to the media on the last day of Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team training camp in Lahore, Captain Fatima Sana said that she is excited for the Ireland tri-series and T20 World Cup.
He said that our team’s performance has been good in the last three to four months.
He said that when he watches a match, he doesn’t watch a single match. India Pakistan match is good, try to play well.
The captain of the national team informed that there are young players in the team, they have faith in everyone. It will perform well compared to the last World Cup. The final performance boosted the confidence of the players.
He also said that the arrival of Wahab Riaz has worked on the attacking approach and focused on power hitting. They benefit me personally as a speed bump.
Fatima Sana said that the record is not important, I want the team to win. The expectation is that whatever the individual score, the team must win.
He said the coaching staff has worked on playing under pressure. Sidra Amin is a senior player who will be missed but there are high hopes for the current players.
Fatima Sana said that there is a desire to be in the top four and my performance should be a part of this, this is the desire.
He also said that we should play the same way no matter what team is in front of us, we don’t think about big teams like India and Australia.
