New York: Mbappe, the star player of the French football team, won the Golden Boot award.

In the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Mbappe scored 10 goals and Argentina captain Lionel Messi scored 8 goals.

With this, Mbappe became the first player in the world to win the Golden Boot award twice.

Mbappe also won the Golden Boot award for scoring the most goals in the previous World Cup competition.
