Report: Abdul Majid Bhatti. Former Pakistan Test captain Mushtaq Muhammad underwent a successful knee surgery at a hospital in Birmingham, England, after which his left knee was replaced.
Mushtaq Muhammad’s younger brother Sadiq Muhammad told Jang that Mushtaq Bhai had an infection in his chest during the operation but now he has recovered.
He said rehabilitation is ongoing and he will be out of the hospital in two days, at which time he will be walking.
The family called the health department. Mushtaq Muhammad lives with his family in Birmingham.
