Trionda football, developed in Pakistan for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, is no longer limited to football fields but has reached space.
The American Space Research Agency NASA shared a video on the photo and video sharing app Instagram.
In this video, astronauts are seen playing with a modern FIFA World Cup soccer ball on the International Space Station (ISS).
Astronauts played soccer inside the station to test how a soccer ball designed by Adidas behaves in microgravity.
The purpose of this experiment was to understand how the balance and weight of the football affects its movement during the game.
The US space agency also announced that they had already conducted this test in 2019 and the test showed that the difference in balance can affect the movement of the football.
