Pakistan Cricket Team’s 17-member Test squad for the West Indies and England tours has been finalized while the official announcement of the national team is likely to be made soon.

According to media reports, the selection committee has suggested some major changes in the team in which fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi, spinner Nauman Ali and pacer Hasan Ali are likely to be dropped from the team.

The sources reveal that as part of the policy of giving opportunities to young players, it is expected that Ali Usman, Oweys Zafer and Obed Shah will join the national test team for the first time.

On the other hand, the inclusion of batsman Mohammad Rizwan and middle order batsman Saud Shakeel in the team will depend on their performance, which will be determined after medical clearance.

It is worth mentioning that the two-match Test series between Pakistan and West Indies starts from July 25 and after that the national team will participate in the Test series against England.
