The 2026 FIFA World Cup, which is jointly hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico, has seen serious security issues.

In the England-Croatia match in the USA, it was announced that the fans easily entered the stadium without tickets or checks.

Similarly, an important security incident occurred in Mexico when a suspicious drone was found in the air during the training of the South Korean team.

According to reports, the Mexican military immediately sprang into action and shot down the unmanned aerial vehicle, raising fears of espionage.

The incident happened when the South Korean team was busy preparing for their important match against Mexico in Guadalajara.

Team coach Hong Myung Bo reacted to this and said that although this incident did not affect the team’s preparations much, time is very important, so the situation is not good.

The operation was part of a tight security arrangement during the World Cup, involving thousands of personnel and advanced technology.

It is worth remembering that a similar incident happened at the 2024 Paris Olympics when the Canadian women’s team was accused of spying with drones.
