French star footballer Kylian Mbappe achieved another historic honor by scoring a stunning goal against Morocco in the quarter-finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
He scored a goal in the 60th minute of the match and became the fastest player to score 20 goals in the history of the World Cup.
The 27-year-old Mbappe completed 20 goals in just 20 World Cup matches, breaking the record of Argentina’s Lionel Messi, who achieved the same feat in 30 matches.

Mbappe has achieved this feat in three editions of the World Cup, 2018, 2022 and 2026.
Now Mbappe has become the youngest footballer to score 20 goals in the World Cup in 27 years and 201 days.

He has scored four goals in 2018, eight in 2022 and eight so far in the current tournament.
With this, Mbappe also became the top scorer in the FIFA World Cup. They have scored 12 goals in the knockout matches so far.

Mbappe also became the first player to play a role in 100 straight goals in French international football. Now he has 64 goals and 36 assists.
With eight goals and three assists in the current World Cup, Mbappe became the first footballer since 1966 to score more than 10 goals in two different editions of the World Cup.
His 14 goals in the knockout stages equaled Lionel Messi’s highest tally in the last 60 years.
