Controversy has grown over FIFA’s decision to lift the automatic one-match suspension of American forward Folarin Balogun.

According to the news of the International News Agency, the Football Federation of Norway announced that they are making an official complaint to the Ethics Committee of FIFA.

Balogan received a straight red card in the match against Bosnia and Herzegovina and was forced out of the pre-quarter final against Belgium.

But after the intervention of US President Donald Trump, FIFA suspended his one match ban for 12 months and as a result he played against Belgium, but the US lost 1-4.

According to the President of the Norwegian Football Federation Lise Klavinis, this issue will be added to the FIFA complaint for the ‘peace prize’ given to Trump.

On the other hand, the Belgian Football Federation and the European Football Organization UEFA also expressed their serious concerns about FIFA’s decision, and FIFA did not accept Belgium’s request for an explanation.
