In the Rounder 32 stage of the FIFA World Cup 2026, Belgium defeated Senegal and advanced to the pre-quarter final stage.

Belgium overcame Senegal from a two-goal deficit to win a thrilling 3-2 penalty shootout in the final moments of extra time in a crucial match at Seattle Stadium.

From the beginning of the match, Senegal played an aggressive game and scored the first goal in the 24th minute of the first half of the game and scored another goal in the 51st minute of the second half.

Senegal eventually took the lead, scoring in the 86th and 89th minutes of the second half to cut the deficit to 2 goals before scoring in injury time to win the match.

With this impressive comeback, Belgium qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup pre-quarterfinals round of 16, where they will face hosts USA or Bosnia on July 6.
