Report: Soheyl Imran. Pakistan women’s cricket team captain Fatima Sana will lead the national team in the ODI series against Sri Lanka, but she will not be a part of the team in the T20 series.
According to sources, captain Fatima Sana will participate in the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka and will not be a part of the three-match T20 series as she will be leaving for England after playing the ODIs where she will participate in The Hundred.
It should be noted that Fatima Sana became the first woman cricketer from Pakistan to play in The Hundred, she was signed by Birmingham Phoenix in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
The hundred starts from July 21 to August 16, with Fatima Sana unavailable for the three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka.
The Pakistan Women’s team will play three ODIs and three T20 Internationals during their tour of Sri Lanka.
The ODI series matches will be played as part of the ICC Women’s Championship on July 23, 25 and 28, while the T20 series matches will be played on July 31, August 2 and August 4.
