LAHORE: Pakistan’s Test and International cricketers took to the coaching field and attended the Second Level Coaching Course.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), 29 participants attended the ongoing second-level coaching course at the National Cricket Academy (NCA).
Test cricketers Fakhar Zaman, Asif Khan Afridi and Usman Khan Shinwari have participated in the course, while international cricketer Hussain Talat is also part of the six-day second-level coaching course, according to the PCB.
According to PCB, the course will impart training on modern coaching philosophy and modern batting techniques and will expose participants to the tactical aspects of the game along with modern techniques.
The course will also focus on sports psychology, communication skills and athlete management, while mental and physical training of athletes will also be part of the course.
According to the PCB, special sessions on the role of biomechanics in sports will be held, the second level coaching course conducted by NCA coaches and PCB medical team members will end on June 7.
