Report: Soheyl Imran. It was stated that only 40 dollars per day allowance was given to Pakistani hockey players during the World Cup competitions.

According to Hanan Shahid, a player for Pakistan’s hockey team, the daily allowance of $40 is about 11,000 Pakistani rupees.

He said that the domestic daily allowance of 2025 has not yet been paid to the players.

According to Henan Shahid, we are treated unfairly in economic terms, we play for the country but we don’t even have basic opportunities.

He said that despite the performance, it is sad to not get enough compensation, in 2018 the players were paid $200 per day.

Hanan Shahid said that in 2022 it will be reduced to 150 dollars and now it is only 40 dollars. During the Pro League in Australia, players were paid $130 per day. If this situation remains, hockey will be difficult to improve.
