Bangladesh test team created history by sweeping Pakistan team in two test match series.
The visiting Pakistan team lost the first test in Dhaka by 104 runs, and in the second and final test they were all out for 358 runs after 437 runs and had to bear the brunt of a historic defeat by 78 runs.
In both the matches of the series, Pakistan’s batting line-up collapsed, while the Bangladesh bowlers excelled and kept Pakistan under pressure.
The last day of the game started today with 7 runs and for 316 runs, Muhammad Rizwan and Sajid Khan were on 75 and 8 runs respectively.
Sajid Khan got out after 28 runs, after him Muhammad Rizwan returned after 94 runs and Khurram Shehzad got out without adding any runs.
Let’s talk about Sylhet test start here, Pakistani captain Shan Masood won and invited host Bangladesh to bat first, in reply home team made 278 runs in their first innings, this score looked easy but Pakistani batsmen looked helpless in front of Bangladesh bowling and all out for 2 2 runs.
In the first innings for Bangladesh, wicketkeeper batsman Liton Das was the leading batsman with 126 runs off 159 balls which included 16 fours and 2 sixes.
On behalf of Pakistan, Khurram Shehzad dismissed 4 players, Muhammad Abbas 3 and Hasan Ali 2 players and Sajid Khan took one player to the pavilion.
On the other hand, in the first innings, Babar Azam became the famous batsman of Pakistan with 68 runs, he hit 10 fours and spinner Sajid Khan was the second highest scorer with 38 runs from 28 balls with the help of 4 sixes and 2 fours.
In the second matches, Mushfiqur Rahim scored 137 runs, Latini Das scored 69 runs and Mehmoodul Hasan Joy scored 52 runs on behalf of Bangladesh.
In Bangladesh’s second match, Khurram Shahzad dismissed 4 players, Sajid Khan took 3 wickets and Hasan Ali and Muhammad Abbas took 2 wickets and 1 wicket respectively.
The Bangladesh team scored 390 runs with a lead of 46 runs in their second innings on the third day of the game and set a target of 437 runs for Pakistan, which the Pakistan team could not overcome and suffered a defeat of 78 runs at the beginning of the day.
In Pakistan’s second innings, Muhammad Rizwan scored 94, Salman Ali Akha and captain Shan Masood scored 71 and Babar Azam was the top scorer with 47 runs.
Needless to say, this is being termed as a memorable and historic victory of Bangladesh against Pakistan in Test Cricket, on the other hand, the performance of the Pakistani team has been severely criticized by cricket fans and former players.
