Day 1 of second Test ends, Bangladesh bowled out for 278, Pakistan lead by 21 runs

On the first day of the second test match against Pakistan, the Bangladesh team was bowled out for 278 runs in the first innings, while at the end of the day, Pakistan scored 21 runs without losing a wicket.

The Pakistan team that entered the field for the level of the series in the Sahel won and decided to face Bangladesh first.

Pakistani bowlers gave the team a good start and Muhammad Abbas took the wicket in the first innings, followed by Muhammad Abbas taking the second wicket with 44 runs.

After this, the third wicket of Bangladesh fell on 63 runs and went to Khurram Shahzad.

At the end of the first session, Bangladesh scored 101 runs for the loss of 3 wickets.

Later in the second session as well, Pakistan continued to put Bangladesh out of the game and by tea, the home team had 6 players back in class for 168 runs.

However, in the third session, Litan Das showed an outstanding batting performance, he scored a century and played 126 runs and played a key role in taking the team to 278 runs.

Apart from Das, Najamul Hasan Shanto 29, Tanzeed Hassanan 26, Mushfiqul Rahim 23, Mominul Haq 22 and Tejul Islam 16 were prominent among the Bangladesh players.

Khurram Shahzad 4, Muhammad Abbas 3, Hasan Ali 2 and Sajid Khan took 1 wicket for Pakistan.

At the end of the first day, Pakistan scored 21 runs without losing any wicket. Azan Oweys and Abdullah Fazal will start the second day’s play with 13 and 8 runs respectively.

The Pakistan team consists of Azan Owais, Captain Shan Masood, Babar Azam, Abdullah Fazal, Saud Shakeel, Muhammad Rizwan, Salman Akha, Khurram Shahzad, Sajid Khan, Hasan Ali and Muhammad Abbas.

Imam-ul Haq, Şahin Afrini and Numan Ali did not participate in today’s match.

It is worth mentioning that Bangladesh won the first match of the 2-test series.
